Biography
Cristina Ciampaglione is an Italian artist and Art Professional based in Ireland.
Living in Dublin City, she has a keen interest in all aspects related to the world of arts and culture. Her academic studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Rome provided her with an excellent grounding in visual arts, together with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of its practice. Over the last 5 years, she has also developed Art Management skills, progressing and delivering a number of sophisticated arts and cultural projects.
Artist Statement
Cristina Ciampaglione’s art practice is guided by direct experiences in her life and by her relationship with the environment she lives in. Her work evokes mental and physiological states, questioning attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have created who we are and informed our behaviour.
She has spent her last 4 years in the world of arts and culture not only as an artist but also by actively organizing and collaborating in the realisation of artistic events, curating exhibitions, festivals and Street Art projects.
